I am Art Educator, Art Teacher, Art Instructor and Artist currently working in West Michigan. In short, I use art to communicate with people. I currently work as a Graphic Designer as well as an Art Educator. These interests were some of the main reasons at university that I chose to Visual Studies as my emphasis area in Art Education. This area of the Art Department focuses on sound, video, web, interactive, performance, and digital image. While this was a big change from my drawing background, the Visual Studies studio allowed me to see the possibilities that there are for making art and that the lines around disciplines are blurry at best.

I consider my photo to the left as my herald, the future and the past are based on perspective.
